Storytelling Projects
At LF Voices Collective, we bring stories to life in ways that connect, inspire, and preserve cultural heritage. From capturing oral histories to producing multimedia narratives and designing pop-up exhibits, our projects amplify underrepresented voices and celebrate the richness of communities. Each project is crafted to foster understanding, build connections, and ensure that every story finds its place in the larger narrative.
Goal
Our storytelling projects aim to amplify underrepresented voices, preserve cultural heritage, and create meaningful connections. By bringing narratives to life through oral histories, multimedia, and immersive experiences, we empower communities to see themselves in the stories that shape their lives and inspire action.
Approach
We collaborate closely with organizations to design storytelling projects that meet their unique needs.
- Discovery: We learn about your goals, audience, and vision.
- Design: Together, we craft a tailored storytelling plan, from interviews to exhibit design.
- Execution: We collect stories, create multimedia content, and bring the project to life.
- Reflection: We assess impact and celebrate the stories we’ve shared together.

All-Inclusive Projects
LF Voices Collective is proud to partner with Shape Up Mississippi to produce Vicksburg Voices, a storytelling initiative designed to amplify the experiences and narratives of the Vicksburg community. Through this ongoing project, LFVC is leading content creation and event production that highlights the richness of Vicksburg’s cultural heritage.
Pop-Up Exhibits
LFVC collaborated with the Catfish Row Museum to design and produce a pop-up exhibit celebrating the life and legacy of Patrick Kelly, an iconic fashion designer from Vicksburg. This exhibit combined storytelling, visuals, and curated artifacts to highlight Kelly’s cultural impact and inspire pride in local history.
Community Programs
LFVC has also developed storytelling programming for the Catfish Row Museum, including the Food for Thought series. These engaging events combine local narratives, cultural themes, and community dialogue, creating spaces where participants can share stories, celebrate heritage, and foster meaningful connections around shared experiences.
